Maverix Setup & Troubleshooting

1. System Requirements

• Windows PC: Windows 11 (64-bit) tested; Windows 10 not yet tested.
• Android Phone: Built for Android 7.0 or newer; tested on Android 12 and 13.
• Network: Phone and PC connected to the same local Wi-Fi network.

2. If Wi-Fi freezes briefly every few seconds

Some Android phones pause Wi-Fi for a moment while scanning for Bluetooth devices in the background. Maverix notices this pattern and shows you Android's Location → Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning → Bluetooth scanning setting.

3. Windows Defender SmartScreen & Smart App Control

Because Maverix is in testing and unsigned, click More info → Run anyway on SmartScreen after verifying the SHA-256 hash. On PCs where Windows 11 Smart App Control is actively enforcing, unsigned installers are blocked until our signing certificate ships.
